Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

If a person who is on disability and medicaid sues someone, and wins, does the money go back to Medicaid for their medical bills incurred or does it go to disability, or do they get to keep it. This person I am referring to has a history of attempting to get something for nothing, and has succeeded with disability and now medicaid. She then was invited to a wedding rehearsal dinner, and while not looking in the direction she was walking slipped on a single step down into another room, and supposedly has a small fracture of the humerus near the shoulder, requiring a sling only. As a cherished friend, she decided to sue.
