Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

personal injury (Defendant)

I work for county tranist system. I was involved in an accident where I ran red light and struck a vehicle. Person in Vehicle was injured and now has filed suit against me. Are my assets at risk or am I covered under my employers liability. Can person sue both employer and me personally?

Your employer might be protected by sovereign immunity liability limits of $100,000.
