Being sued.

Can you be sued as a manger of a restaurant for a guest being hurt on the restaurant grounds?

Re: Being sued.

Typically you would have to have been personally negligent, or own the property in order for a claim to be maintained against you. However, that does not prevent someone from suing you.

If you are named individually in a lawsuit you should consider hiring independent counsel to represent you in that suit.
