Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

My condo Board of directors has sent a me a letter indicating that I planted flowers outside my condo without written permission. This was done over a year ago and was witnessed over a several month period by a board member and I never was given one word that I was violating anything. Not until recently after having an altercation with a board member that I'm receiving letters. There are alot of units that have made changes to the exterior of their units including patios, tiki torches, plant hangers, entire gardens, decorative wall hangings, etc. If they ask me to remove the items can I ask them to provide samples of the written proof that was given was given to the other units. Are they legally required to provide this information to me. Can I also ask if the other units are being ask to remove their items as well or is this directly solely at me.
