Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Lot Rent / Cash only required
I live in Parrish FL in a manufactured home park. Our rent payment is paid semi-annually, approx $ 1700.00.
We received a letter via mail that states that we may no longer pay with cash, that a check or money order only will be accpeted. Is this legal and binding ?

Would need to review the lease to see if specific payment types are permitted or forbidden.
That said, not sure why this would be a major concern for you. Checks are safer and easier than cash anyway. Plus you'd have a paper trail in case of dispute.
