does martial status have to be disclosed when purchasing a house in fl with cash?

There are really two issues here. First there is the contract issue. Marital status is not an issue relevant to a purchase agreement (unless for some odd reason there is a clause that addresses this issue). So, no, a person does not have to disclose their marital status within the purchase agreement. Second, though, is the issue of who may have an interest in the property. Marital status may affect each spouse's interest in the property. However, your question was not specific enough regarding this issue.
