Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I have received a summons, requesting I respond in 20 days, regarding a foreclosure on someone else's property. I have no interest in the property except that I have a judgement against the property owner. I am listed as a defendant along with several other creditors and all of our claims are said to be inferior to the foreclosure action. Why am I included? Do I have to respond?

Your judgment is a lien against all real property in the counties you have it recorded in. In order for the bank to foreclose and get clear title they must extinguish all interests including liens.
