Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida
Said by the attorney: On Friday I went to see John Doe at the hospital and he assigned the ownership of his LLC to his revocable trust. This will mean if something happens to him, his trustee will immediately be able to appoint a new manager for the LLC. John Doe' daughter tells me this morning he is doing much better today, and she is hopeful he will be leaving before too long.
This was his statement. John Doe died. The attorney for the PR transferred to trust he did not prepare before decedent died is what was said.
My question: Is this Estate Planning? Thank you.
