Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

is he entitled to everything

my brother died 2 weeks ago.his will made in 1997, left everything to me if his partner was deceased or non existent before him. they separated the first part of this year & my brother bought the house from him in april/2006. I need to know if I need a probate lawyer to contest this or not since they were no longer together?

First, without seeing the Will it is going to be difficult for any anttorney to have an opinion on this issue. Second, the partner may or may not contest this issue. I do suggest you contact a probate attorney to proctect your rights and to open probate if that has not already been done.
