Father stole money

My grandmother passed away, leaving me $10,000, but the money was supposed to come to me either when I went to college or when I turned 25. I called my biological father for the money because it was being held by him until i was old enough, and he told me he gave it to my mom for back-owed child support. Is there anthing I can do? She died in Michigan.

You would need to sue your father.
