Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

simple will

i am a widower with four adult children. the oldest will be the fiduciary. i would like to only address the assets where title transfer is necessary (home and automobile) in the will and provide the fiduciary with a list for distribution of all personal assets such as furnishings, collectibles, etc. separate from the will document itself. investments, iras, etc are dealt with as to beneficiaries. i have complete confidence that my wishes would be carried out as instructed. is there a problem in handling a will in this manner? thank you.

Re: simple will

Legally your desires should be fine. From a practical standpoint you may be inviting a family feud if the beneficiaries do not agree with your distribution. It is my advice to my clients to list all items of importance in the Last Will and Testament.
