Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Georgia

I filed bankruptcy in May of 2004, backing out at the last minute. My credit report now says,"some things listed are on a Chapter 13 file". Farther down the page it says," Chapter 13 was dismissed, in August of 2004". Can I get this removed from my report? If so, how?

"Backing out" does not tell us what happened. Since you failed to even tell us what is inaccurate about the report, you cannot expect a meaningful response. If the report is accurate, you might not get it removed until it ages off.

Once you file a case, it's not "unfiled" by dismissing it. Since the 13 did not pay creditors it will age off your report in May 2014.
