I would like to sell an idea but want to protect it from being stolen. What do I need to do in order to market my idea with out having some one copyright it?

You need to consult with a copyright/trademark attorney, but I doubt you'll find one in this forum.

Ideas are generally not protectable. So, you should have the people/companies to whom you disclose your idea to sing a non-disclosure agreement before speaking with them about your idea.
