Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia

neighbor troubles

Over the past 2 years my neighbor has told my daughter that she called DFCS and reported me for abusing my grandson. When I called the authorities they told me that she had not called them (She lied).

She stands in the street in front of our house and lets her dog pee (my dog barks) as she lingers in front of our house.

She has maced me while I was in my drive (I called to police but they did nothing).

We went away 1 weekend only to return to find hot dog pieces in our pineisle between our homes. (again, I called the police) we had no proof.

She has assaulted me in the street near my mailbox. (again, called the police nothing happened).

Lately she will stand outside in the street to get my dog to bark. She talks to our dog when our dog stops barking. She has done this several times, oh I forgot we have 3 cameras up to get this on film.

I am growing weary of all of this and am at my wits in.

Any help would be great!

Re: neighbor troubles

The police should have at least written an incident report. Even if they did not, if you have witnesses of any of her physical attacks (which would include the mace incident), you can sue her for damages. You need to contact a civil lawyer (personal injury). If the value of the case is too small for a civil lawyer to take, you can always take her to small claims court. You will still need witnesses to have your best chance of success.
