Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

Calendar Call

I got 2 calendar call notices in the mail last week from Citibank. There is a Civil Action # on top of each page. The notice is dated November 9th, but I did not receive it until the 20th. The call is for December 1st. I did not get a summons. I had 2 delinquent CC accounts with Citibank. 2 years ago they served me with a summons after I requested validation. I never got the validation. Since I only had 2 accounts, why are they now saying I have 3? Can they issue a call without serving me? How do I know these are my debts? Thanks

Re: Calendar Call

We do not have the documents and know nothing about your case, so no one can answer your questions. If you have been sued, which is apparently the case, the only smart thing to do is hire a lawyer to explain the situation and answer your questions or guess why the issuer is making its claims. Once a lawsuit has been filed, the circumstances change and even if you have a good defense it has to be asserted correctly or you risk losing the case.
