Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

debt collection

Since a judgement has been obtained, you maybe subject to an add. action such as garnishment,post-judgement deposition, interrogatories and other action.

I am on total disability, have no job, no property, no insurance policies or any money. i said I could pay 20.00 a month on this until paid but for them it wasn't enough. So what can happen to me? Please give me an answer so I can get some ease of mind and get this settled. Thank you very much, will be awaiting a response.

Re: debt collection

Creditors can still grab your disability check (by attaching your bank account). If the debt is large, and depending on your circumstances, a bankruptcy may help. Call me to discuss your options if you're in metro Atlanta (start by filling in our debt relief/bankruptcy worksheet at www.glenashman.com ).
