Re: liens

In British Columbia, liens are not filed to secure judgment; liens are for unpaid creditors who have supplied work or material to real property and may are placed as a charge against the property before suing. Satisfaction of judgment means the judgment has been paid; you can't file anything on property if the judgment is satisfied because it has been paid. Further, in British Columbia, liens are not filed with the Court but with the land title office.
