Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

i was arrest for being in a stolen car that i didn't know about and was ask for my name and i gave the wrong name. i spent one night in jail and was bail out by my family. i was not arrested for using the wrong name but for being in a stolen car. the guy that stole it did take all the blame but the problem is the wrong name i used is still in my record and when i go to immigration to renewal my green card that fake name i used keeps popping up with my actual name, the immigration is ask me to go verify which one is really me but if i do that am afraid i might go back to jail for giving false information to the police.
