Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

I was convicted of child molestation as a first offender in May of 1996. I was 13 years old when charged and 15 when convicted. The law at the time of my conviction stated that I would only have to register for 10 years. I was sentenced to 10 years probation. The law since then has been amended since then several times and they tell me I now have to register for life! I was wondering if there is anything I can do because I feel as though I fall under the old law of 10 years of registration. I was also very young myself when convicted and feel as though this is an injustice to me. Please help me and tell me if anything can be done. Thank you very much. You don\'t know how much it would mean to me if this could be reversed. I would be willing to pay whatever it costs, even if it takes the rest of my life.

I have been following this type of issue for several years. I would be happy to talk to you. But, you're right: it's not going to be cheap.
