Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

So in December of 2013, me and my boyfriend (stupidly) stole some items from a Publix in Florida. We were both charged with Petit theft, went to jail, got out and we were entered into a Pretrial diversion program. We completed the community service, we paid all of the monthly fines except for one, and we did not complete the class required. During all of that, we moved up to Georgia and during all of this time I was pregnant and gave birth in October 2014. We ended up getting our Pretrial Diversion revoked, because we did not pay the last month of fines. We were supposed to go to court on November 2015, but couldn't because we didn't have the funds and we had a newborn baby to take care of. We didn't have transportation to get to Florida so we could show up to court and we ended up with warrants. He got a bench warrant, and I have a Capias. My question, is how can we get these charges dropped? It's been over two years and I know we have no transportation to get to Florida anytime soon but is there anything we can do from Georgia to get this solved?

This is a ticking time bomb. In your next traffic stop, you can land in jail for a good while. You need to stop making excuses - this is priority number one so your baby doesn't have parents in jail - and get the dollars together to find a Florida lawyer ASAP. You may have to make a trip but again, this is your priority. Living life as a fugitive is bad, and also, with both of you now likely showing these theft cases on your criminal histories, both of you could be virtually unemployable for life unless a good lawyer helps you fix all this.
