Muder/Felony Murder Yes

It is possible and very frequent for georgia defendants to be charged with both murder and felony murder and be found guilty of both. they can only be sentenced to one life term for each dead human being however so conictions on each doesn't mean two life terms.

Nuders are often accomplished through some other criminal act such as aggravated assault-shooting another person. If that other criminal act is a felony and it results in the death if a human, it is felony murder.
