Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

Poronography

A computer was debugged and there was much pornograpy on the hard-drive with ''questionable'' sights found. An attorney stated there was adequate data on computer to be locked up. Owner of computer stated he maybe arrested when they seized his computer. Originally the computer info was sent to Georgia Burea of Investigation. They referred it to the county where individual lived. County received a warrant (9 pages) to seize other computer and we were told there was as much on that one as the original. Case was dropped because we were told they could not trace the sites. How can that be since every time I receive or send something to someone there is a web address? Wondering whether this case was dropped due to someone that had influence on the County police? What about violation of interstate laws? Something just does not sound corect to me. Cannot seem to receive any concrete info. Please advise. Have called the sargent on the case, he never calls back. Spoke to captain, he said we need to talk to the sargent? I think we are getting a run around? Can you help? What should be the next step?
