child legitimation and custody

I am pursueing the mother of my son for legitimationand custody. Does she have to consent to me having him legitimized? If so what do I need to do?

Step one: you need a lawyer as legitimization is complex.

While she does not have to consent, her consent simplifies things and her lack of consent may, in some cases, prevent a legitimization. Again, it is critical that you get counsel.
