Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Custody?

Hello, my ex-wife recently moved to California from Georgia. She asking for to allow our children to vistit during the summer break from school. I'm very hesitant, since we have no court document; basically, I'm worried she won't return them.

At this point, Ive not received anything from her stating her address, or notification of her move, only phone calls. Can you advise what direction is needed? During the last modification, where I took custody, I had to pay for all legal fees; since shes the one whom move shouldnt she bare the responsibility for a new order? If need both children are minors, ages 7 &11.

Sincerely, a concerned parent.

Re: Custody?

I would need to look over your last order from the court to give you better direction. If you would like to fax or email it to me, I will be happy to look it over and lend you a hand.

Re: Custody?

Those are questions for the lawyer representing you, especially since she obviously has a lawyer and presumably working out something for your children is important. Get a lawyer in your location you can work with in person, who primarily practices in the domestic area.
