I have a serious issue. I filed for divorce in April and it was finalized in May. I agreed with my ex to have a straight divorce not including home and kids. We agreed and sign paper stating so . Now a 1.5 later my ex is threating me because to kids don't call him and after he verbally agreed to pay the mortgage now he wants me to pay half or he will quick sell the home. My questions is if I go back to courts will i be put in jail for not saying I have a home and 2 kids. What kind of approach do i need to take because he is threatening to steal the kdis and take them out of the country. I am very scared because it might look from the judge point of view that I lied . Please help me!!!

Call your lawyer. You comitted a felony (perjury).

You may very well go to jail. The odds are that the court will also void the divorce.

You could not have gotten a divorce without the court addressing support, visitation and property issues. If you both lied to your lawyers and said there were no children or property you have two serious issues - potential criminal charges and reopening the divorce. Again, call your lawyer. Do not be surprised if you end up in jail. What you did was very serious.
