My divorce has been going on for 19 months. My husbands lawyer, which works in a law firm with her father and brother has taken a leave due to her child's health issue. I am desperate for some closure. Is it legal for my case to just sit with nothing being done? Is there some kind of due process?

There is no time limit within which cases must be heard. However, you can request that the court place your case for a hearing ASAP. Consult with a local attorney.
