More information is needed.

Who has your son?

Did you sign temporary custody to a person or did the court order it?

If you simply permitted somone (other than the legal father) to care for your son while you were sick, without a court order, you can get your son. If they refuse to relinquish the child, call the police.

If the legal father has cared for your son, but you have sole custody, you should be able to regain custody by showing him the court order. If he refuses to turn over custody, contact the police.

If the court granted somone temporary guardianship of your child, you will have to return to court to regain custody.
