wife wants husband evicted

Can I have my husband evicted? I own the home, the deed is in my and my parents name. I had to leave for fear of physical harm to myself. I have filed for divorce. My attorney says once divorce proceedings are underway, no one can be evicted. Is this true?

I hate to disagree with an attorney who is already on the case and more familiar than I with all the facts, but, generally, the assigned judge has the authority to enter a temporary order deciding who gets possession of the marital abode.
