Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

Motion to Dismiss Notice of Appeal

Default judgment entered on 4.8.09,; I filed Notice of Appeal on 4.28.09, Clerk of Court sent letter dated 5..4.09 re need to amend appeal ''please amend your appeal to state those things so that we can move forward with your appeal. We will process your appeal once you have provided the above information'' Plaintiff filed Motion to Dismiss Notice of Appeal citing Register v. Elliott, 258 Ga App. 741 (2007), is case on point, or did court 's letter find that processing of appeal was delayed not denied? I have since submitted court costs which were accepted. Do I have valid defense to motion to dismiss, I am pro se, thanks much
