Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

suing a clerk of court notary

If you were going to pursue a lawsuit against a notary who is also clerk of court would you sue them civilly first and hope for a win then hopes of a criminal prosecution or would you file to prosecute them criminally then go after the civil suit second? What can I sue them for damage wise?

I wouldn't sue anybody without first consulting with a local attorney.
