Legal Question in Immigration Law in Georgia

I know of an illegal alien who has been in the USA for almost 20 years. He has a son, who is an American citizen. Is there any way this person can get a green card or any other document that would make him a legal resident.

You didn't provide enough details in your post. It's important to know how this person came to USA, on what visa, from what country, when; had he ever filed any application with INS/USCIS; has he ever been under immigration court proceedings or even ordered deported, etc?

A US citizen son can petiition his parent when a son is over 21 years of age. However, it's important to know answers to the abovementioned questions in order to provide any guidance or advice.
