Re: Immigration,Keeping Me And My Wife Together

If you have already applied for adjustment of status(I-485)via a visa petition filed by your wife (I-130), I don't see what relevance your passport expiring now has to do with your staying in the US with your new wife or why you would have to leave the US because your passport is expiring. If you apply to the British Embassy for an extension of your passport, it will be extended long before you receive your geencard interview. And you only need a valid passport for INS to give you a temporary green card stamp. Many INS districts don't even care if you don't have a valid passport. They will give you an I-94 with a temporary green card stamp.
