Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

Can an employer force their employees to take an unpaid lunch break although the company policy says you "may" receive a 1/2 unpaid break? There is also no mandatory break period in the state.

The employer cannot force an employee to do so, but can make it a conditioned upon continued employment.
