Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

I rented a condo in atlanta and signed a one years lease in October 2009. The landlord told me it was not in forecloser, but now I find out it is in forecloser. I spoke with the landlord about breaking the lease because I don't want to come home to find the doors locked. I was told by the landlord if I break the lease I would have to pay the remaining months and court cost. Can I break the lease legally and not pay penalties?

We haven't seen the lease so there is no way to answer. At this point one thing is clear - you need to see a lawyer.
