Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

My daughter bought a house about 3 years ago. She is now finding holes in the walls in the bedroom his underneath the wallpaper. They have found a hole in the basement wall since the rain in Atlanta made the water come in the hole and flooded their basement. They had an inspector inspect the house before they bought it. Is there any way possible the previous owner could be held liable for with-holding this information? I thought there was a law on the books protecting innocent people from people not indulging the things wrong with a house or vehicle they were selling.

If you can prove the previous owner knew of the damage and didin't disclose it, you may have a case. Consult with a local attorney.
