Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

my son is about to close on a house but the seller has not completed all of the repairs in the contract. If he backs out of the sale is he entitled to reimbursement of fees like the inspection, appraisal, or just the earnest money?

Hopefully your son did not make the common mistake of signing a contract without retaining his own lawyer to read it. His rights are in the contract - he has no more and no less than what it says. If he had a lawyer, he likely had such provisions spelled out. No one who has not read the contract can answer you.
