Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

I am 59 have illnesses and cannot work

Thannks for answering about my husbands debts. I am 59 and have several lifethreatening illnesses and cannot work. Since my husband was the breadwinner I have no money coming in to pay my husbands debts, what will probate do with me then when I become administrator? Will I still get money for 1 year from his estate? Will Probate appoint me a lawyer or do I get one on my own?

You will need to get a lawyer on your own. I'm not sure whether Legal Aid handles probate, or year's support applications, but it might be worth checking, if money is an issue.

By the way "year's support" is a lump sum from the estate, not an income stream.
