Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

please define ''relieve them of filing inventories''

A portion of my mothers will reads as such: ''and I relieve them of giving bond, filing inventories and appraisals and making returns, or in any way accounting to any court or legal authority for the management and control of my estate and carrying out this Last Will and Testament.''

As the named executor, does this mean that I am not required to provide a detailed accounting of monies in and monies out to the named beneficiaries, my two sisters. My youngest sister lives in Georgia and has reviewed the acounting with me first hand but my oldest sister is out of state and has been ''at odds'' with the family for years. She is my reason for posing this question. I have had many doctor bills to pay, I had the house modestly renovated in order to place it on the market and a year of other details to attend to in handling the estate. I have kept all receipts and I can account for every dime but does the above passage from the will mean that I don't have to provide this itemized accounting. If I don't have to spend the endless hours organizing and documenting this paperwork with great detail in order for my oldest sister to review, then I opt out. :)

Thanks

You will still need to file an annual return with the probate court. For more information, check with your clerk of probate court. You can also find info at https://www.gaprobate.org/index_secure.html
