Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

Living Trust

My mother is leaving in her will, her house and all possessions to her 4 children (we're all over 50). One of us wants to remain living in the garage apt. and rent out the house. We would split monthly prceeds from the rental. Would a Living Trust be the way to go or is there a better way to do this? Eventually the house would have to be sold and proceeds split. Don't know if this is even a good idea.

Re: Living Trust

I don't think I would mess with a living trust. That could cause problems. It seems that all of you children are in agreement at this time. I would advise you consult a local will/real estate attorney to discuss dividing the property at this time.
