power of attorney

How do you get power of attorney if person is already deceased. I have a check from her propery I need to cash to pay off her account. I am her oldest daughter.

It appears that you are the same person who just posted another question, and that has been answered.

Powers of attorney can only be given by living people, not dead ones. See the other thread you started, and your answer remains that you need a lawyer.

You can't get a power of attorney if the person is deceased. You probably can get appointed as a temporary administrator of the estate. Consult with a local attorney.
