client won't pay for shipped merchandise

Small business owner ships merchandise to retailer on verbal payment agreement. 4 months pass, retailer can't/won't pay, return calls, letters, etc. Can we go to retail store and reposess our merchandise?

If your credit agreement allows repossession and if you can clearly identify your product. You may need to sue if you do not have agreements or if the merchandise cannot be clearly identified.
