Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Illinois

Placement of fliers on automobiles

I am trying to start an internet business with advertising as inexpensively as possible. Is it against the law to place flies about my new business and web sight address on automobiles in parking lots or on the street? I don't want to do anything illegal without asking first.

Offhand, I do not know anything "illegal" about it, sort of a low-tech spam. I suppose you could be cited for littering, and I suppose further that each municipality may have ordinances against such practices, whether such ordinances would be held Constitutionally valid or not.
