Legal Question in DUI Law in Illinois

DUI court supervision

I am on court supervision in Tazwell county IL for a DUI last Jan. I was leaving a friends last month and hit a slick patch of icy on a side road coming home and ran into a tree. I walked home getting there around 6am and when i got up around 11am I called the non-emergency local number about my vechicle. My car was already towed and 2 days later a cop came to my door and gave me a ticket for failure to report an accident even though nobody else was involved but me, not to mention the fact i called at 11am. If i am found guilty of this while on court supervision for the DUI is it possible for jail or just more fines and longer probation?

Re: DUI court supervision

I think (in general) you are ok. But you should report accidents right away. That being said, it is not a moving violation or a drinking related charge.
