Custody

Can the father of my daughters son be granted custody if he moved out on them? The baby is only 11 weeks old, and they are not married.

Issues of custody can only be decided by a judge. A judge will look to what is in the "best interests of the child".

A court awards custody to whom it believes would serve the best interests of the child. If both parents are equally suited for the role, then there may be a joint custody arrangement. Either way, it can only be decided by a court.
