Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

Take on the city of New Lenox, Illinois

I recently moved to New Lenox, Illinois. Before moving in to my home I asked the city if they were going to build any commercial sites directly behind my house. The city said no and recently I have found out that a target is going behind my home. I would like to take action against the city - What steps can I take and do I have a case?

You might want to hire a lawyer to research whether you have a valid cause of action against the City before you file suit or pursue the matter further -- at least that's a first step.
