Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Illinois

Shed infriging on my property for 19 years that we are aware of.

There is a shed that infriges on my property that is unsightly I planted trees to hide the view. Now the neighbor is complaining about the trees on his property and wants to trim them but the property is actually on my land. Does he have the right to trim my trees? Can I have him remove his shed?

If the shed is on your property you can probably force him to move it. The last time I looked at the tree law in IL, a neighbor could cut the parts of trees that extended over their property as long as it didn't kill the tree. But it sounds as if you and your neighbor may disagree about the property line. Resolving that would be a good starting point.
