Separation Agreement and General Release. If there is no date noted on the release how long will this release be good for?

I assume this is employment-related. Do you mean the release is not dated, or that it does not specify how long it is to remain effective. The standard form of release, if a general release, talks about any matters "ever known, now known, or which may become known in the future" meaning it is FOREVER. The release may or may not relate to the separation agreement, which may have its own restrictions (non-competition, etc.). Without reviewing both documents, however, it is impossible to say how they might tie into each other.
