Re: my mothers' care in the hospital after she had a stroke

Please accept my condolences for your family's loss. You should have some questions and you are entitled to answers.

In order to have a valid malpractice case, you need to establish that the medical people failed to provide medical care that was up to the appropriate standards for the condition that your mother had and that their failure caused her death.

It certainly sounds as if that could be the case based on your decription of what did happen. However, the records need to be reviewed to make sure that the care provided was substandard.

You need to contact an attorney who handles medical malpractice cases. I handle such cases in Illinois and Indiana. Please feel free to contact me and I will arrange to come to your home for a consultation.
