Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

My daughter got her hair colored at a salon on Saturday Feb 12, 2011. After the dyeing process and then shampoo her hair started falling out. The hair stylist apparently called the owner prior to this. She then blamed it on me in some way. She now wants my daughter not wash her own hair for 6 months. She wants her to continue to go to the salon every other day so they can wash and fix her now fried hair. My daughter has lost half of her hair and has one bald spot that I am aware of. What can I do to make sure she fixes it? Should I go back to her? What should I do?

Oh, what a nightmare! First of all, Your daughter should see a dermatologist a.s.a.p. Heaven forbid but there could be permanent hair loss or damage and you need to see what a doctor thinks. There may be a need for medication and if so, usually the earlier the better. You also need to contact an injury attorney so that proper investigation can take place. If you wait too long, that may not be possible.

Regarding going back to her-she blamed you? How could she do that? Do you trust her after what she has done with your daughter? Bottom-line, and this is not a legal opinion, if this happened to my daughter there is no way I would subject her to this lady again!!
