Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

My son got in a fight

My son 14 was in a fight with a 16 yr old boy and got punched in the eye. He ended up with a full blown orbital fracture and a fractured cheek bone which he had surgery. It was a mutual fight and no police were involved. Is there anyway of getting the boys parents to pay for any of the Dr. bills?

We may be able to assist you. Although it was a mutual fight, certain homeowner exemptions to the home policy may be able to assist you.

Visit our website, www.KALOLAW.com, or contact us for further information. You should not be stuck with the bills, etc.

Re: My son got in a fight

No, unless they negligently failed to supervise the kids and that resulted in the fight and injury.

Re: My son got in a fight

The other boy's family's homeowner's insurance may provide coverage for your son's injuries. I'd be happy to further discuss this with you.
